Micaela Hollis

Podiatrist

Micaela has been practising as a podiatrist for over 9 years in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, not-for-profit, Aboriginal health and aged care. Micaela tutor’s podiatry students at the University of South Australia and regularly participates in outreach trips to rural and remote communities with podiatry students as a supervising tutor. Micaela provides treatment in all aspects of podiatry, including general nail and skin care, diabetic assessments, biomechanical assessments, footwear advice, nail surgery, and foot mobilisation. In her down time Micaela enjoys Roller Derby, cooking and eating these delicious meals.

 

What makes you different/why would people come see you?

“As a sporting person I understand the importance of returning to and maintaining activity in sports on many levels. I enjoy being able to help my clients participate to their full potential in their chosen activities”.

 

Micaela has a keen interest in all aspects of podiatry but is especially interested in:
  • Ingrown toenail management including conservative and surgical techniques
  • Diabetes foot health assessments
  • Nail and callus treatment
